Preparing for Relocation

The time of your move is dependent upon where you are placed on the schedule by the moving company. If you are currently taking prescription medication, please plan to have a full day of medication on your person in the event the move should last longer than expected and you are unable to unpack your needed medication at the required dosage timeframe. Please do not pack any items in plastic bags unless you will be moving those items yourself.  All items, except furniture, must be packed for the movers to move them.  Please tape the bottom of each box; do not over pack boxes as all box lids and flaps must be able to close in a flat position so that boxes can be stacked. You may want to transport your own valuables, personal documents, or prescription medication. It is your responsibility to provide padding to protect your furniture and goods (blankets, bedspreads, thick towels, etc. could be used to cover delicate or breakable items that cannot be packed).

We have secured a moving company with a wonderful reputation dealing with all aspects of moving items in a home; however, accidents do occur. Should any damage occur, please report it immediately to the moving personnel and also to your Community Manager.  All relocation claims must be made within 35 days of your move.

Please continue to pay your rent to Hampton Creste per your lease agreement You must always comply with the conditions of your lease agreement as it relates to criminal activity, disturbances and alterations to the location and adherence to the facilities house rules because should you be evicted for “just cause” you would jeopardize your long-term residency.
